How do I import my XRP Ledger wallet?
Add your public XRP Ledger address through the XRP importer available in your Cense case. This gives Cense access to supported public transaction information for analysis. Your private key, recovery phrase and wallet password are not required.
Add your XRP Ledger address
- Open your XRP wallet and select the account you want to include.
- Find and copy the public receiving address.
- In Cense, choose the option to add a wallet and select XRP or XRP Ledger.
- Paste the address, verify it and follow the importer instructions.
- Check the imported history and add any additional accounts relevant to the assessment.
Check whether you are using an exchange account
An exchange may give you a shared deposit address and a destination tag that identifies your account within its system. That address alone does not represent your personal trading history or prove that the address belongs exclusively to you.
For assets held on an exchange, use the supported exchange connection or transaction export requested in Cense. Include destination tags in supporting records where relevant to matching deposits and withdrawals.
What happens after import
Cense uses the available records to analyse supported transactions and include the account in the relevant case scope. For Decode, wallet activity can be reviewed together with exchange records to explain deposits, withdrawals and portfolio development.
Importing an address establishes the scope of data being analysed. Any conclusion about your ownership or control of that address must be supported by the evidence collected for the case.
