How do I import my Litecoin wallet?
Use the Litecoin importer available in your Cense case and provide the public information it requests. Litecoin wallets can use multiple receiving and change addresses, so check that the import covers the relevant account history.
A receiving address may cover only part of the wallet
A Litecoin wallet may generate or reuse addresses depending on its design and settings. One receiving address therefore should not automatically be treated as the entire wallet.
Where the importer supports an extended public key, it may help collect addresses belonging to the relevant account. It does not automatically cover every account, derivation path or independently imported key in your wallet application.
Add Litecoin to your case
- Open your Litecoin wallet and identify the account to be reviewed.
- In Cense, choose the option to add a wallet and select Litecoin.
- Check whether the importer accepts a public address, an extended public key or another supported export.
- Supply the requested public information and follow the importer instructions.
- Compare the imported balances and history with your wallet records, allowing for the reporting date and scope.
- Add other relevant accounts or ask your case handler how to supply missing records.
Never provide a seed phrase, private key or spending password. Public account information is read-only, but still deserves careful handling because it can expose your financial activity.
How the data supports your assessment
Cense can combine the imported Litecoin records with other available wallet and exchange data for Decode. This helps explain the movement of funds and distinguish transfers between your accounts from external funding where the records support that distinction.
The report’s conclusions depend on the available history. Unexplained opening balances, missing exchange records or incomplete address coverage may require further documentation.
